Good day Parents

Our admin office will be open tomorrow from 08:30 - 14:00. Parents who did not collect reports at the end of last term are urged to please collect tomorrow.

On Wednesday, 8 April school reopens for the 2nd Term, learners should be dressed in full school uniform and are expected to be inside the school grounds by 07:40 as lessons will begin promptly at 07:50. Parents, your support in ensuring learners are correctly dressed in proper school uniform and arrive timeously will be greatly appreciated.

The RCL President delivered a powerful message to the Grade 8 learners during the Blazer Ceremony, reminding them that the blazer represents pride, responsibility, and the values of the school.

Learners were encouraged to wear their blazers with honour and to always represent the school with respect and excellence.

Yesterday marked a special milestone for our Grade 8 learners as they proudly put on their school blazers for the very first time.

A blazer is more than just part of a uniform. It represents pride, responsibility, and belonging. From the moment it is worn, it becomes a symbol of the values of the school and the journey each learner has begun.
Wearing the blazer reminds every learner that they carry the name of their school with honour. It reflects commitment, respect, and the responsibility to grow not only academically but also in character.

Yesterday was not simply about putting on a blazer. It was about stepping into a new chapter, embracing the traditions of the school, and beginning a journey that will shape the leaders of tomorrow.

Our Grade 8s stepped into Slipper and Mask Friday as part of their journey toward Blazer Honours Day. This is more than just a fun dress-up. It is preparation for a proud moment when they will wear their blazers for the very first time as Grade 8 learners.

As they get ready for their blazer ceremony, they are also preparing their numerals, ready to showcase their talent and creativity. The excitement is building, the pride is real, and the future is looking bright.

It was a fun and memorable Friday for the Grade 8s of Glenvista a proper and heartfelt welcome into the school community. Filled with laughter, unity, and excitement, the day marked the beginning of a new journey for the Class of 2026.

We gathered in our school hall to honour the life of Mr Mathe. The hall was filled with quiet tears, heartfelt tributes, and memories of a teacher who gave so much of himself to this school.

He was more than an educator. He was a mentor, a steady presence in the classroom, and a guiding voice in the corridors. His dedication to his learners and his love for this school will never be forgotten.

Today, as we lay Mr Mathe to rest, we do so with gratitude for the time we shared and the legacy he leaves behind. Though he is no longer with us, his impact will continue to live on in our hearts and in every learner he inspired
Rest peacefully, Sir. You will always be part of our school family.
