We are so excited to introduce swimming at Off The Hoek Swim School as an additional extra-mural activity at Hoekwil PHS! 🌊

Once a week, during school hours, our learners enjoy a one-hour swimming session — and they absolutely LOVE it! 😄🏊‍♀️

Small classes, big futures — and making learning fun! ❤️

Thank you to Off The Hoek Swim School for making this possible! 🌊✨

🎨✨ Proud of our Hoekwil PHS Artists! ✨🎨

We are incredibly proud of our learners and the beautiful artwork they are creating in preparation for the Hoekwil Primary School Gala Evening on 17 September. 🖼️💙

Their artwork will be judged by an external judge and proudly displayed at the Gala Evening. Even more exciting — the artwork will also be available for purchase! 🎨❤️

We are so proud of how our learners are developing their creativity and truly enjoying this project. Seeing their confidence and passion shine through their artwork is so special! 🌟

A huge thank you to Semona, who guides and encourages our learners with so much passion, love and dedication. ❤️

🎨 WATCH THIS SPACE for the final artwork! 👀✨

🔧 A great day out with our Hoekwil PHS boys! 🔧

Our boys enjoyed an exciting excursion to Africa Skills, where they were introduced to a variety of different trades and career opportunities. 👨‍🔧⚙️ They had the chance to learn, ask questions and get a better understanding of the skills and possibilities available to them.

And, of course, we had to end the day on a sweet note with a well-deserved ice cream! 🍦😄

A day filled with learning, exploring and fun! 💙

🌸 What a beautiful morning with our Hoekwil PHS girls! 🌸

We enjoyed lots of laughter and fun at Merchant & Maiden, while exploring the theme of identity, beauty and uniqueness. 💕 The girls had fun dressing up with lipstick, hats, scarves and sunglasses while learning to celebrate what makes each of them special. ✨

A huge thank you to Merchant & Maiden for going the extra mile with freshly baked warm scones, delicious jams and milkshakes! 🧁🥛❤️

Such a special morning — and a wonderful local business we highly recommend supporting! 🌷

♟️⛳ Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🌿

On Friday, Hoekwil PHS headed to Wilderness for a fun-filled excursion where our learners challenged one another on the putt-putt course and the chess board! 🏌️‍♂️♟️

They learned to plan their shots, analyse their moves, think strategically, communicate and work as a team — all while having plenty of fun! 🤩

What a wonderful way to learn, grow and build friendships outside the classroom. ❤️
