Sri Lanka holds a world of natural beauty. Colours and shapes, tracks in the sand. So much. Exploring tracking here, with this enthusiastic crowd of kindhearted humans is such a privilege.

There is an incredible amount to see here in Yala. We, in our typical fashion, do not focus purely on the mammals of course. We also explore the botany, the birds and the reptiles. And, of course, the tracks and signs. In the past few days we have documented more than 116 different signs of wild life here in the park! Sri Lanka certainly needs to be on your list of places to visit...

Some of the amazing birds we are encountering here in Yala National Park, Sri Lanka. This is a place where rich diversity meets and extraordinary level of photogenic compatibility.

After many kilometers of trails, we completed some more evaluations on trail this week. Super well done to Greg Jarvis on achieving a Professional Trailing certificate. Sophie Barrett landed on an epic 99%! Vaughan Jessnitz has yet to be assessed, and I am looking forward to that immensely. Well done guys. What a week!

A whirlwind of trails this week, with two new level two trackers! Sunsets, braai's, amazing fun and great company. The bush is nice and thick at the moment, so extra caution was needed, but, we are all safe and sound! We have several other offerings planned later this year, so get in touch if you are interested!

An awesome sighting of a beautiful female leopard, in the Greater Kruger yesterday. She was tracking her two nearly full grown cubs. What a treat!

Outback was lovely. Dry. Hard. But interesting and diverse.

Convoying out from the Tjiwarl National Park, a dry road became a river in minutes. So much for sleeping out in the desert! Maybe next time.
