Bring asb julle 'Township' karton en voorbereiding saam skool toe as julle die dag kuns het. Maak seker dat jou naam, van en klas duidelik voor op jou prent geskryf is.

You are working on the background for the township scene. Most of you are finished and:
* Have found a box not smaller than A3
* Divided the sky and the foreground
* Added some cut outs from magazines: eg Mountains and trees etc
* Have drawn or painted a road across
* Added three or more houses from eg match boxes close to the horizon (backwards)
Mark clearly with your name, surname and class, and bring it to school with your next art class. I will keep it in my store room till next term.
We will construct the rest in class for your final Art Practical mark.

Maar nou moet jy eers:
* n Stuk kartonboks gaan soek. Enige formaat.
* Verdeel dit in derdes.
* Die boonste derde is die lug. Verf of pastelle.
* Die onderste 2 derdes is die voorgrond. Groen of bruin of wat jy wil.
* Doen iets interessants met jou horison. Ek het berge uit tydskrifte geknip. Plak. Of teken?
Dis al. En maklik.
Neem n foto en bring dit volgende keer saam.

I will assess perspective:
Draw these shapes on white paper. Shade (pencil) them according to your light source. Cut out and arrange and stick them on the table to emphasise perspective.
(Surprise me by changing these shapes into objects eg the sphere into an apple?)
