It's been a long three months. From learning the quite advanced maths and physics of aircraft, to electronics and coding.
Along the way, volunteering with the SAA Museum to get their display planes ready. And checking out the turbines and engines of the many really advanced aircraft at Rand Airport.
The journey has been amazing, The results of the term great. Aiming for 90%. Onwards and upwards!

Morgan's Theorum dealing with logic gates is in the next module we are tackling here at MATA.
With modern aircraft, technology, data, IT, coding and the get your hands dirty engines are all part of the deal!

Maths and physics modules done and dusted. Now the electronics starts, with resistors and circuit boards the order of the day! This is such an intensive, interesting and challenging journey!

Tyre maintenance, air side ops, math's and now physics is all on the agenda as our group tackles the science of aircraft mechanics.
AME requires a 75% pass on all 17 module exams followed by a 2 year apprenticeship.
Blessed to be studying at MATA - Rand Airport.

The day in the life on the part time job.
Stripping one helicopter for another is dirty, but highly interesting and technical.
Everything is done according to a major service manual. There may be parts all over the show now. But we will get her up and running!
