Oosterkruin dien die gemeenskappe van Elandsfontein, Marlands, Woodmere, Homestead, Primrose-Oos, Gerdview, Sunnyridge, Edenvale en Klopperpark. Die skool het in 2016 sy eerste Graad 1 Engelse klas begin. Kruger was tot Maart 2021 die hoof. Mnr P.J. Greyling is aangestel as hoof vanaf 1 Oktober 2021. Laerskool Oosterkruin started in 1993. It serves the communities of Elandspark, Marlands, Woodmere

, Homestead, Primrose East, Gerdview, Sunnyridge, Edenvale and Klopperpark. The school started with an English Grade 1 class in 2016. Mr C.J. Kruger was principal until March 2021. Mr P.J.was appointed as principal from 1 October 2021.
