Revolutionary greetings ❤️💚🖤

The EFFYC NMU George Campus successfully convened its Ground Forces Forum yesterday, addressed by National Convenor and MP, Cmsr Sihle Lonzi.

As we enter the crucial period of two battles the SRC Elections on the 21st & 22nd September 2026 and the 2026 Local Government Election on the 4th of November 2026 ,the youth must be politically armed and ideologically clear.

This was not just a meeting, it was a call to war against financial exclusion, the accommodation crisis, and the neo-liberal agenda that continues to punish black students in institutions of higher learning.

As we move forward, we call on all students to come out in numbers and VOTE EFFYC IN THE COMING SRC ELECTIONS and VOTE EFF IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS!

No Retreat, No Surrender! Victory Is Certain!

♦️HAPPENING TOMORROW ♦️

The Ground Force Forum represents the importance of political education, youth participation and organised engagement on campus. As young people, we must create spaces where students can discuss the challenges facing their generation, interrogate political ideas and understand the policies shaping their future. The forum provides an opportunity for political dialogue, mobilisation and engagement around questions of economic freedom, education and the role of young people in South Africa’s political landscape.
