1st introduction to “serious” fishing/angling was Jan 2016 at Riverview Lodge (Vaalrivier) and same year June, I was introduced to Specimen style angling at Rietvlei through my brother.
Since then I was completely hooked to this style of angling. Mostly self taught by means of videos and reading of magazines. Some info gathered from friends and other anglers on the bank, by asking questions and observing.
The key to success is to be willing to learn.

Spike/Swivel on slip-d on Wide gape - popups
Combi hooklink on all rigs
Favorite hookbait:
Go-to will be double Tigernut critically balanced, topped with sponge/fake maize
Alternatively will have single 14/15mm popup.
