GETTING READY FOR DORMANCY

As we move into the colder months, the cherry trees are naturally slowing down their growth in preparation for winter dormancy.
🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂
During this period, the trees may no longer appear in “showroom” condition, the leaves will begin to turn yellow, and from mid April will start dropping off, THIS IS COMPLETELY NORMAL and an essential part of the trees natural cycle.

While they may look less attractive above the ground, they remain healthy and are simply conserving energy for the next growing season.

With the arrive of spring the trees will break dormancy, producing fresh buds and a strong new growth flush 🍃🪴🌱🌸🍒
