Is it of high significance to recognise the impact that Physical and emotional changes of puberty may have on a girls self esteem and self image. Most girls *do* feel discouraged from life activities when they don't feel good about themselves or the way they look. The TEENSC has joined forces with the Ermelo Phoenix Rotaract Club to help out underprivileged sisters regain their confidence and overcome low self-esteem. Join us as we embark on this journey to brighten the faces of our sisters with a toiletry box donated by caring individuals and other sponsors. For more information please kindly Makabongwe at 073 787 0070.

They say being a woman means having a strong sense of identity, accepting your body as one that adapts and changes over time, being confident, and building up the people in your life. It means you have the wisdom to be grateful for what you have while still being hungry enough for growth.

We say a woman is someone who is sympathetic. Stong women should be the first to offer help, comfort, advice and be a shoulder to cry on. They should know what it's like to be weak and have managed to pull themselves out of the dark places. So being empathetic comes naturally to them. They want to help others feel better. They have been in pain and know how terrifying it is.

Sending smiles and lots of love to every women out there!❤

TO THE TEEN WHO IS SLOWLY FADING AWAY....

To the teen who has lost her spark.
To the teen who's lost their smile perhaps they believes it was stolen from them.
To the teen who is struggling to find happiness.
To the teen who is slowly dying inside but still smiles for the world.

This is for you!
This is to remind you that you don't have to be everything to everyone, everyday
You didn't sign up for that!
Remember when you used to laugh? Sing?
Throw caution to the wind?
Remember when you used to forgive yourself more quickly for not always being perfect?
You can get that back....
You really can.
And that doesn't mean letting people down or walking away...
It just means being kinder to you, feeling brave to say no sometimes.
Being brave enough to stop sometimes.
And rest.
Putting yourself first.
Putting yourself above anything else... above everyone else.
It starts the moment you realise you're not who you used to be.
Some of that is good, some of it is not.
There is a part of you that needs to be brought back.
And if anyone is not okay with that....they are not your people. Your people will be glad to see the spark light up again.
So, if you have been slowly fading away my friend, this is the time to start saying yes to things that bring you joy and no to things that don't.
It's really pretty simple😊❤️

Depression is feeling like you've lost something but having no clue when or where you last had it. Then one day you realize what you lost is yourself

Depression:
That word we throw around so easily nowadays.
That word we use to describe anything from a bad day to an overwhelming inability to live life. But as anyone who is dealing with depression knows, it is much more that any one word can describe.
