What an amazing display of dreams, ambition and creativity at Eldorado Park Primary School! 🌟🎓

Our learners truly impressed us with the incredible variety of careers they chose to represent. From doctors and lawyers to teachers, police officers, engineers, pilots and so many more, our school was filled with future professionals ready to take on the world! 💼🩺⚖️🚔✈️

And our little ones absolutely stole our hearts! 🥹❤️ Seeing them proudly dressed in their tiny doctor coats, lawyer suits and other professional outfits was simply too precious. They certainly looked ready for their future careers! 🌈✨

A very special THANK YOU to our parents for going the extra mile and playing such an important part in making Careers Day a success. 🙏💐 Your effort, creativity and support did not go unnoticed.

Today was more than just dressing up. It was about encouraging our learners to dream big, believe in themselves and imagine the possibilities that lie ahead. 🌍🚀

Please be reminded that tomorrow, Friday, 4 September 2026, Eldorado Park Primary School will be hosting our Grade 7 Entrepreneurship Day as well as Careers Day for Grade R to Grade 6. 🎉

🛍️ GRADE 7 ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY

Our Grade 7 learners will be putting their entrepreneurial skills into practice by selling a variety of goods and items as part of their EMS curriculum.

Parents are encouraged to support this important initiative by allowing learners to purchase items from the Grade 7 stalls. Your support will contribute towards making this practical learning experience a success. 🙏🏽

🎓 CAREERS DAY – GRADE R TO GRADE 6

All learners from Grade R to Grade 6 are encouraged to dress according to the career they aspire to pursue one day. 👩🏽‍⚕️👨🏽‍🏫👮🏽‍♂️👷🏽‍♀️👨🏽‍💼

The cost for participating in Careers Day is R5 per learner.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: TOMORROW IS A NORMAL SCHOOL DAY.

Parents are strongly reminded that these activities are NOT a reason for learners to remain absent from school. Teaching and learning will continue as normal, and learners will still be completing classwork, activities and assignments.

🎒 All learners from Grade R to Grade 6 MUST bring their school bags, books and necessary stationery.

🛍️ Only Grade 7 learners will NOT bring their school bags, as they will be involved in the preparation and running of Entrepreneurship Day.

🎓 CAREERS DAY & GRADE 7 ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY 🛍️

Dear Parents/Guardians

Please take note of the following exciting activities that will be taking place at school on Friday, 4 September 2026. 📅

👩‍⚕️👨‍🚒 CAREERS DAY 👨‍🏫👷‍♀️

Learners are encouraged to dress up according to a career of their choice. This is an opportunity for learners to think about their future aspirations and to learn more about the different careers available to them. 🌟

💰 The cost for participating in the Careers Day dress-up is R5.00 per learner.

We encourage all parents to assist their children in choosing a career and dressing accordingly.

Outfits do not need to be expensive. Creativity and effort are encouraged! 🎨✨

💼💰 GRADE 7 ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY 🛒

Our Grade 7 learners will also be hosting their Entrepreneurship Day as part of the Economic and Management Sciences (EMS) curriculum.

The purpose of this activity is to give learners practical experience in entrepreneurship, including:

📝 Planning a small business
📢 Marketing products
💵 Managing money
🤝 Interacting with customers
🛍️ Understanding the basic principles of buying and selling

We kindly ask all learners to support our Grade 7 entrepreneurs by purchasing the items that will be on sale. 🙌

🎟️ COUPON SYSTEM

To make purchasing easier, the school will operate on a coupon system.

💵 R5 coupons will be sold, and learners will use these coupons to purchase items from the various Grade 7 stalls.

Parents are therefore encouraged to send money with their children should they wish to purchase coupons and support our Grade 7 learners. 🛍️💛

📚 All learners are expected to be at school and participate in the day’s activities.

With very cold weather and the possibility of snow forecast for tomorrow, Tuesday, 11 August, we ask that you please ensure that learners come to school extra warm and well prepared. 🥶🧣🧤

👔 Learners must still be dressed in their school uniform, but may wear additional warm layers underneath and suitable winter items such as jackets, coats, scarves, beanies and gloves.
