East London Slot Car Club - ELSCC

Find us in Dyer street, Arcadia, East London. Track:
The ELSCC track is 47m in length and consists of 4 colour coded lanes.
The colour coding is required for lap timing and also assists with marshalling. The lane colours are yellow, green, blue and red. The lap timing system is computer based and provides the following information:
1) total laps completed per driver
2) fastest lap time per driver
3) overall position of each driver on conclusion of the race
The computer system is accurate to within 1000th of a second
We are back and racing is officially starting this evening at ELSCC.
If you are looking for a new hobby, come through and see whether slot car racing could be your next passion.
Racing starts at 19:00, with the club open from 18:00. New faces are always welcome.

📣 Coastal Challenge – Pre-GP Practice
Today, members of the East London Slot Car Club (ELSCC) are participating in a friendly Coastal Challenge with the Port Elizabeth Model Racing Car Club (PEMRCC) as part of preparations for the upcoming Grand Prix in Gqeberha this July.
A total of 6 drivers from ELSCC have joined 12 PEMRCC members on the track – a great opportunity for competitive practice and camaraderie between clubs.

The ELSCC is hosting a thrilling 2 hour endurance race and fundraiser this evening. Teams were drawn, and the competition is intense, with each driver racing their own car.
