"From Sputnik to Starships: The Evolution of Space Technology"
On 16 April 2026, we had the privilege of hosting an insightful hybrid presentation from 12h00β13h30, led by Mr Kaizer Moroka, Deputy Director: Space Science at the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI).
The session took participants on a powerful journey through the past, present, and future of space technology from the historic launch of Sputnik to reusable rockets and the vision of life beyond Earth. It highlighted how space innovation continues to shape our everyday lives while expanding the boundaries of human potential.
A sincere thank you to all partners, collaborators, and attendees who joined us both in-person and online. Your engagement made this session truly impactful π€ .
