It gives me immense pride and joy to inform you that Sastri College has been nominated as a finalist in the prestigious Best of Durban Readers’ Choice Awards 2025. This recognition is a direct result of your unwavering dedication, tireless effort, and steadfast commitment to excellence in education and community service.

This nomination is not just an honour. It is a celebration of the spirit of Sastri College. Each one of you has played a vital role in bringing our school to this point, and I thank you sincerely for your hard work, loyalty, and perseverance.

The finalists will be featured in the Best of Durban Finalists Spotlight across several local newspapers, Highway Mail, Northglen News, Berea Mail, and Queensburgh News, with publications scheduled for 18 & 25 April, and 2 & 9 May 2025.

Public voting is now open and runs until 11 May 2025 at www.bestofdurban.co.za. I encourage each of you to spread the word far and wide, family, friends, alumni, and members of our broader community. Let’s rally the support Sastri College deserves and show Durban what we are truly made of.
