An upmarket busy venue in Durban is looking for experienced and vibrant Bartenders to add to their team.

Key skills required;

- Cocktail knowledge
- Call order management
- Cash up knowledge
- Accurate stock measurement and control
- Ability to work under pressure

You would be required to be a trainee for a week and then write a test.

Shift pay is paid monthly and tips are kept on the night.

Hey everyone,

Apologies this page has been quiet. The admins work mostly overseas and it can sometimes be difficult to interact when you don’t have a finger on the pulse in the city of origin.

We will be looking at our backlog soon and will also be trying to find opportunities for those interested going forward.

At some point Conor will be running some Service Etiquette and Flair Bartending clinics on the weekends in the new year to bring some life back into our amazing industry!

After a couple years of working on cruise ships and finding a career in sales, I am slowly working my way towards taking Durban Bartenders Society to the next level!

We will be working at getting the following services up and running;

*Recruitment and position resourcing
*Bartender training
*Flair sessions

Found some flaircos. Anyone in sunny Durbs interested in some practice bottles?

Hey guys! I'm looking for bartenders to work a pop up bar in Durban every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from the 30th of Nov to the 16th of Dec. Great pay, easy hours and a fun environment...you'll need to be a competent bartender and comfortable with cocktails and a high-volume environment. Will be expected to attend training prior to opening. DM if you're interested and we'll take it from there.

Howsit Ladies & Gents,

Just wanting to let you know that we are back in action and will be hosting some Flair practice days soon as well as getting more involved in the community, so feel free to post if you are looking for a job in bartending or even if you have an available position! Gents, we only have 2 entrants from the Durban side for the flair division of Nationals! I know that circumstances have changed and because it is now in PMB and it has become difficult to arrange, but for Durban to still have a chance to show what we have, we need to get more entries! Please we only have until the end of tomorrow!
