Mjindi High School

In anticipation of the upcoming elections, the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) visited Mjindi High School for a fun filled educational program where the learners created different performances about themes relating to democracy and human rights. Our learners did amazing work.

Our learners recently attended the Ingakithi Tourism Entrepreneurship Careers Expo, hosted by EDTEA. They gained valuable insight into the world of tourism, learning of career opportunities and real life examples of what they learn in class.

What a truly extravagant day at Mjindi High School. Today, our wonderful staff and learners celebrated Valentine's Day by sharing some love over some yummy meals and exciting fun!

Our Drama Dept hosted a 'Valentine's Day Extravaganza' to fundraise through a fun-filled market day with delicious treats, roses and a photo booth! Everyone dressed in red, white, pink and black, adding more magic to this already special day.

It is with great delight and honour that we congratulate Nokukhanya Gumede, Lwandle Khumalo, Slindile Ntuli, Nsindiso Simelane and Londeka Zwane who have earned their place as the top academic achievers of the Class of 2024! We are extremely proud and inspired by your achievements!

The class of 2024 achieved a pass rate of 96.2% with a total of 59 Bachelor passes and 78 subject distinctions. They have demonstrated excellence and great dedication. We look forward to the bright futures ahead of you all.
