Breeze Publishing CC is a Durban based publishing company that commenced business in October 2006 specialising in publishing, printing and marketing of books.

COMPANY PROFILE AND BACKGROUND:

Its sole proprietor and businesswoman Naseema Mall started her apprenticeship at New Vision Publishers in Egypt where she worked for five years. It is during these formative years that she gained a wealth of experience in the field of publishing and printing, and was inspired to start her own publishing company in South Africa upon her return to the country. While

most South African publishing companies are largely based in Johannesburg and Cape Town, Naseema found it easier to establish her company Breeze Publishing in her hometown of Durban from where she has been operating quite successfully ever since. She found a niche in the market when she met numerous writers who had good quality manuscripts but had no idea about what the publishing process entails and how to establish themselves as authors. She took a special interest when internationally acclaimed and renowned business leadership trainer, Mirza Yawar Baig from India was seeking a South African publisher, and after making the necessary proposals, the cherry on the top was when he ended up opting for Breeze Publishing to publish, print and market his publications. Several book launches on behalf of this esteemed author helped propel Breeze and the company has today entrenched its footprint in the South African publishing industry. Thus far Breeze has published six of Yawar Baig’s books, with ‘The Business of Family Business’ and ‘Hiring Winners’ being the most popular among them, and is currently working on his book ‘A Diary of an Entrepreneur’. Breeze Publishing is set on publishing quality books of a variety of themes and categories, both in fiction and non-fiction; for the adult, teen and children’s markets. Breeze is constantly being approached by both local and foreign authors, and continues to carefully select manuscripts of quality. The company has great aspirations to become a dominant player in a very versatile but restricted market and hopes to affiliate itself with both budding as well as established authors so that it can grow with them to greater heights. Breeze prides itself in offering solid solutions for on-time delivery and excellent quality at a competitive price.
