Be careful of minister who teaches a word different than the Bible.

“And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” ~ Ephesians 4:11-12

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” ~ Matthew 28:19-20

• A minister should teach you how to do what they do; they should not become the run-to-person every time turmoil surrounds you. They should teach you how to respond to circumstances; to relentlessly rely on the Holy Spirit, not on them, not on men. Ministers’ ought to guide you to take a firm stance on the Word of God; and how to apply the Word in your life – for this is how we glorify our Lord; allowing others to see God at work in and through our lives.

Mark 16:17-18
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
• These signs are to follow us who believe, so that those who don’t believe might see and believe. These signs are not for the believers’ benefit (for in Christ Jesus we already have these things), but they are for the benefit of the unbelievers.
