I chose diploma in media studies because i love speaking, interacting with people and i knew how this course would expose me to activities that will assist me in knowing what to do and what not to do in the media world when working with people but unfortunately my first year was not so adventurous because of covid 19. This year it is a little bit of what i expected, i'm working hard in making sure that i obtain skills that i need.

Requirements for being accepted to study a diploma in media studies in the university of Zululand which is only offered at the Richards Bay campus are, minimum of 24 points including 50% in English. The course duration is 3 years including 6 months experiential learning.
