Did you know that the handles of our bamboo toothbrushes are made from Moso Bamboo - one of the fastest growing bamboo species!
Whilst growing, no pesticides or fertilizers were required and this toothbrush helped to purify air and create oxygen!

Have you ever heard of a soap saver bag?
We can't get enough of them!
Place your bar of soap into the bag and pull the drawstring closed. Wet the soap and bag, and lather up. When done, you just hang up the bag, soap and all and allow it to dry in between uses!
The bag itself acts as a washcloth and acts as a way to keep the bar clean in between uses too 🎉

The more research you do, the more shocked you will be!
Our rubbish stays around for longer than we think and the amount of waste we are producing is alarming!
When you throw something "away", it still goes somewhere. There is no magical vortex called "Away" that sucks up all our waste and makes it vanish. It stays here on earth, and we have to manage it's dispposal - which we don't seem to be doing very well.
This is why using zero-waste products is so important! Reduce your waste trail by using natural products made from bio-degradable materials.

Our goal is to make zero-waste living as affordable to South Africans as possible, not just for the upper and middle classes, but for all classes.
Plastic consumption is ruining our planet faster than we realize, and with South Africa's current economic status, it's very difficult to not rely on cheaper, mass-produced products. And so the idea of Narah is born. We are inspired to make more eco-friendly choices available to the masses.
