Happy Freedom Day South Africa🇿🇦🙌🏾! A day to celebrate the joy of our 32nd and to honour the journey from struggle and oppression to freedom and opportunity!🕊🕊

Maths transformed into a virtual adventure for Our Grade 3 class this week🐉🏰. Learners played a computer game where they were “trapped” in a castle and the only way out was to solve maths problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Lots of thinking as they worked their way through each maths challenge, followed by great excitement when they unlocked the doors to freedom.🦹🙌🦹‍♂️

We climbed aboard the bus for another school adventure beyond the classroom🚌🐾. Our destination? The Natal Zoological Gardens and what a wild time (literally!) we all had outdoors in the fresh air. Our students were led on an guided educational walk through the zoo and gardens and came face-to-face with a range of animals of all shapes and sizes, birds and primates🐪🌞🐯. Of course no school trip would be complete without a delicious picnic, some trampolining and fun play together, before a bus ride home with a bunch of tired, but happy kids.🫶

Our Grade 3 Art class explored the magic of blending colours and composition, as they painted a cosy sunset scene with cats soaking up the golden glow😻🎨. Some lovely creativity and paintings all round. Well done to all our learners.👏🏽👏🏽
