To my dear Grade 12s,
You’ve given your all this year. You've overcome many challenges and had to endure monumental pressure, stress and anxiety. The mental toll that it takes on a person is significant, yet here you are - standing strong.
Reaching the end of your school maths syllabus is a huge achievement. Now begins the next challenge — Trial exams, your stepping stone towards the ultimate goal: shining in Finals.
You should be proud of how far you’ve come - you may have fallen n times, but you got up n+1.
Stay focused, stay determined, and keep pushing.

As we gear ourselves up for the new academic year, anxiety, stress and a whole bunch of other mixed emotions are most likely what you are feeling right now.
Parents, the above message is for you, not for your child.
"I wonder if my child will pass"
"I hope my child doesn't get bullied this year"
"I wonder if my child will make the A-team"
"I hope my child feels accepted and makes new friends"
There are so many things to be concerned about as a parent, but through motivation, open communication and zero judgement, expect your relationship with your child to flourish.
They spend more time at school than they do at home, and chances are they are most likely a TOTALLY different person at school.
We need to remember, they are human.
Guide them, motivate them, and speak to them with calmness and love.
Naturally you want what's best for them, but always remember that everyone's skills and abilities are different - patience is definitely required.
Just my 2c. 😉
Oh, and get them a maths tutor as well 😃

Happy 45²
2025 = 45² is a "perfect square year."
It is represented by the square of the sum of all the digits of the decimal numbering system.
(0 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9)² = 2025.
It also represents the sum of the cubes of all the digits of the decimal numbering system.
(0³ + 1³ + 2³ + 3³ + 4³ + 5³ + 6³ + 7³ + 8³ + 9³) = 2025.
The last "perfect square year" occurred in 1936 and after 2025 only in 2116.
