DPGHS Young Directors 2026

Two productions. Two very different worlds. One unforgettable showcase of young talent.

What an incredible showcase of creativity, imagination and storytelling from our talented cast and our two young directors and scriptwriters, Phumelele and Erin.

From a hilariously chaotic medieval adventure to the heartfelt realities of friendship, family and life in Matric, both original productions took audiences on very different journeys.

A celebration of bold ideas, brilliant storytelling and the talent of our young performers.

What a festival!

Although the festival isn’t quite finished, an uneven draw means our girls’ tournament journey has come to an end — without a final leaderboard position.

We leave knowing our girls are ready to compete at this level. Every match, strategy and challenge brings more experience, confidence and growth.

Most importantly — we had loads of fun! A huge thank you to Michaelhouse for creating the opportunity to play mixed doubles again. Such a highlight!

Congratulations to the tournament winners, and well done to all the players who made this such a fantastic festival!
