Exciting News! School Admissions Now Open for 2025

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are thrilled to announce that admissions for the 2025 academic year at Sofunda Schools are now open! As part of our admissions process, we will be conducting admission tests to help us understand each child’s unique strengths and potential.

Admission Test Details:

Fee: A non-refundable fee of R100 is due on the day of assessment.
How to Register:

Email Registration: Send an email to [email protected] with your child’s full name, current grade, and recent progress report card.
Phone Registration: Contact our admin office at 066 207 4585.
Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email with further details.

Sofunda Creche is an Early Childhood Centre specialising In Early Childhood Education. Our facilities are warm, nurturing and friendly, perfect for kids.

Sofunda Creche is fully registered under the Department of Education.

Our ECD operates from 6am to 6pm every Monday - Friday.

Our admin office hours have not changed, we open from 7am-3pm (Mon-Fri) Pl, Dawn Park.

School operating hours are as follows:

All learners should be in class by 7am (Mon-Fri)

Grade R-3 learners should be picked up by 14h00

Grade 4-7 learners should be picked up by 14h15 (Mon-Fri)

Grade 8-10 learners should be picked up by 15h00 (Mon-Fri)

Grade R (Situated at 5 Fagan Street, Dawn Park)
Grades 1-5 (Situated at 1 Mostert Pl, Dawn Park)

Grades 5-7 (Situated at 1 Endeman Street, Dawn Park)

Grades 8-10 (Situated at 4943 Bushpig Street, Dawn Park)

Applications for EXTERNAL applicants (GRADE 2 - 10) are NOW OPEN.
Please note that space is LIMITED.
Admission can only be considered after the school-placement test has been written by the applicant.

Kindly note that RIGHT OF ADMISSION IS RESERVED.

THE PLACEMENT TEST WILL BE WRITTEN ON THE 28TH OF SEPTEMBER 2023, AT 1 MOSTERT PLACE, DAWN PARK.

All applicants should be seated in the test venue by 08h30.
Learners should bring a Pen, Pencil, Exam pad, Eraser and Ruler to the venue on the test dates above.
Grade 8-10 learners should bring the above-mentioned as well as a Calculator and Math Set.

Our school is hosting its Annual Fundraising Event SOFUNDA FAMILY FUN DAY...🥳🍭🎭

🎖Our FUN 5KM RUN will start from 7h00 - 8h30. Other Fun Day activities will start from 09h00 🎖

Tickets will be sold at the gate.
