Owning our story is one of the bravest things we will ever do.
We are grateful to NHL Stenden Pride for sharing Charlie’s personal journey - a story shaped by lived experience, identity, and the ongoing process of understanding both self and others.
At The New Insights Journey, we believe that behind every label is a far more complex and human story.
This is a reminder that when we begin to understand ourselves, we create space to understand others with more empathy, patience, and respect.

The The New Insights Journey with neXgro South Africa management team with their MapsTell maps.
From insight
to understanding
Together
Because when behaviour becomes visible
everything starts to shift
The best is yet to come.

The The New Insights Journey embarked on the rest of Day 1 with MapsTell with the neXgro South Africa management team.
What starts as awareness
quickly becomes something more
From map
to real behaviour
As each person begins to recognise themselves
and each other
Because when behaviour becomes visible
something shifts
Day 1 is about awareness
Day 2 is where we take it into leadership
Grateful to be on this journey with the Nexgro team
The best is yet to come

Today our MapsTell certified guide Johan Jorrie Meyer kicked off Day 1 with the neXgro South Africa managememt team.
The focus of this programme is leadership in transition
and the reality of imposter syndrome
especially when stepping into bigger roles and increased responsibility.
But instead of jumping straight into fixing it
we started with behaviour
Using the MapsTell World of Difference
Johan guided the team to understand how they think, respond, and show up
especially under pressure
Because often, imposter syndrome is not just a mindset
it shows up in behaviour
Day 1 is about awareness
Day 2 is where we bring this into leadership
Grateful to be on this journey with the Nexgro team
The best is yet to come.

We all see the same world…
just not in the same way.
At The New Insights Journey first MapsTell workshop in Johannesburg on the 11th of March,
what started as a room full of individuals
quickly became a space of curiosity, reflection, and real connection.
Because perception is powerful.
It shapes how we interpret people.
How we communicate.
And how we show up.
But the moment we pause…
and start questioning what we see…
That is where the shift happens.
At the end of the session, we handed out a simple reminder:
A new lens. A new insight.
Not to change who you are.
But to change how you see.
And maybe…
that is where understanding begins.
Thank you to this incredible group for showing up fully.
The energy, the openness, the laughter… unforgettable.
This is just the beginning.

There is something powerful about the moment it becomes personal.
At The New Insights Journey first MapsTell workshop on the 11th of March in Johannesburg, this was that moment.
When each delegate received their personal Map and Guide… the room shifted.
What was once a concept
suddenly became their story.
You could see it:
curiosity
surprise
validation
and a few “aha” moments all at once.
Because the Map does not label you.
It does not put you in a box.
It shows you:
• how you naturally behave
• how you show up under pressure
• where your strengths live
• and where tension with others might arise
It gives you a language for something we all experience every day…
but rarely understand.
And the most beautiful part?
Watching people recognise themselves…
and then start seeing others differently too.
Grateful for a group that embraced this moment with so much openness and excitement.
This is where awareness becomes real.
With Gratitude
Charlie & Johan

When our guests walked into our workshop room on the 11th March, their journey did not start on the Map.
It started here.
At the board called “Your Insight Starting Point.”
Two simple questions waited for them:
What brought you here today?
What insight are you hoping for?
Before stepping onto the Map, everyone paused for a moment to reflect and write down what they were truly looking for.
Better communication?
Understanding behaviourm?
Exploring purpose?
Unpacking patterns?
But the real question is…
Did they find the insights they came for?
You will have to wait and see.
More moments from this incredible day coming soon.

We stepped onto MapsTell Map again.
On 11 March we hosted our first World of Difference Experience for Learning and Development leaders.
A room full of curious minds.
A floor Map waiting to be explored.
And the beginning of many powerful conversations about behaviour, perception, and understanding one another.
This photo captures the very first step.
The rest of this incredible day will follow soon.
For now… just hang in there.
We will be sharing some of the insight moments from the day very soon
