They say home is where the heart is…but once you move abroad, your heart is split into pieces…that can be really overwhelming. We leave with the intention of returning home soon then boom 🤯years go by ! I’m sitting with the tension of knowing I’ve outgrown home yet I don’t belong where I live. Yet even going home I can’t even say let me rebuild my life there because I’m only home for a holiday ! When did my home become a holiday destination?!😓

Episode 1: Chalkie AI
One thing I’ve realized as a teacher is that AI works best when it helps reduce overwhelm not replace teachers.
During the war, everyone skeep and daily routine was disrupted yet we srill had to show up anf keep school going online. there were mornings where I woke up 10–15 minutes before class and still needed to function professionally.
Chalkie AI genuinely helped me build lessons quickly, organize my thinking, and continue showing up for my students.
That experience changed how I view AI in education.
Not as cheating.
Not as replacing teachers.
But as a coteacher for teachers navigating real pressure, fatigue, and changing environments.
Teachers need support systems all the time!!
Also they recently added the CAPS curriculum to it. Although adding your standards is available in the pro version, I still usually add my standards as additional instructions which still works out well.
