International workshops empowering hypnotherapists to effectively help their clients overcome bad habits and addictions.

Addiction, in its most basic sense of the word, is a person's inability to say no to something. It can take many forms, like one's addiction to sugar, alcohol, ci******es and drugs but it often also includes behavioural addictions like s*x, po*******hy, gambling, shopping, cosmetic surgery and even sport. Addiction is a global problem and while scientific evidence shows that hypnotherapy is highly effective in dealing with all forms of addiction, working with addicts in one's practice is often daunting and prone to failure. This is true because addiction is not simply a repetitive habit that can easily be spoken away by suggestion but is in fact, a serious mental illness that causes neurological changes to the brain. Regrettably, addiction can take a person to a point beyond recovery but if caught early enough, the power of hypnotherapy in the hands of a skilled, knowledgeable practitioner is an invaluable tool to help clients recover and rehabilitate themselves. This specialised, immersive, practical workshop is for qualified, practising hypnotherapists wishing to better understand the neuroscience and psychobiology of addiction and who desire specialised, tried-and-trusted advanced hypnotherapy techniques to improve their effectiveness when working with their addicted clients. The course is presented by veteran hypnotherapists, Yvonne Munshi and Thomas Budge.
