🎒✨ Welcome Back to a New School Term! ✨🎒
A new term means new opportunities to learn, grow, make friends, and build confidence. As children settle back into their routines, it's also the perfect time to check in with them about their safety and wellbeing.
💛 Take a few moments this week to ask:
• What was the best part of your day?
• Did anything make you feel worried or uncomfortable?
• Who are your safe adults at school and at home?
• Is there anything you'd like to talk about?
At PBSA, we believe every child has the right to feel safe all the time. By creating regular opportunities for conversation, we help children know that they will be listened to, believed, and supported.
Let's make this term one filled with learning, kindness, courage, and safe conversations.
💙 Wishing all our children, parents, caregivers, teachers, and schools a wonderful and safe new term!

Helping children feel safe starts with simple, everyday conversations 💚
When we talk to children about safety in calm, age-appropriate and empowering ways, we help them build confidence, trust and healthy boundaries - without creating fear.
Here are a few simple reminders we can teach our little ones:
• My body belongs to me
• I can say “no” if something feels unsafe
• I can talk to a trusted adult
• I have the right to feel safe
As caregivers, teachers and parents, one of the greatest gifts we can give children is the confidence to speak up, ask questions and know they will be heard.
Let’s continue creating safe spaces where children feel protected, valued and empowered. 🌱

As we draw close to another full week of PB, we’d love to share a song that families can enjoy with their little ones this weekend. 🎶
‘Boss of My Own Body’ is from the album Helpful Songs for Little People and was written to help children understand body autonomy, consent, and safe boundaries in an age-appropriate way.
