What started as a Term 1 Hackathon became something far more impactful 💡

This term, Teneo learners stepped beyond the classroom to research and advocate for charities they believed could create real change.

The Hackathon challenged learners to think critically, collaborate, communicate ideas clearly, and solve real-world problems creatively. Alongside the charity initiative, learners also helped shape the new Teneo Trivia Toss game experience, bringing learning and engagement together in a fresh way 🧠

A big thank you to Bo Studio for helping bring the Hackathon experience to life alongside our learners.

The charities selected across the Houses were:

🔍 House Lumina — Butterfly Art Project: Using creativity and self-expression to empower young people and underserved communities.

🤝 House Nexus — Our Community In Unity: Focused on uplifting vulnerable communities through connection, compassion, and collective support.

⚡ House Synergy — Four Paws: Protecting and caring for animals through global advocacy and action.

🚀 House Zenith — Tshwane Leadership Foundation: Empowering individuals to lead change and create impact within their communities.

Because learning should go beyond academics. It should prepare learners to contribute meaningfully to the world around them 🌎
