In collaboration with Confucius Classroom, our AMAZINGLY TALENTED grade 4 learner Imaan Wilson, walked away with third prize at the National Mandarin Competition in Durban this weekend.
For only a few months Imaan learned and practiced... third place is a HUGE achievement.

Thank you to her teacher Ms Tomsana who accompanied her and her mom to Durban to participate in this wonderful event.

We cannot do what we do by ourselves. We are blessed by people who believe in us and our school and are willing to build with us.

Mr Dennis Nick walked by our school one day and just asked one question " Can I come by one day...I'd like to see how I can help?"

This was the beginning of a wonderful partnership and relationship. He was not in the greatest of health but it didn't stop him from creating spaces for us to develop.

Mr Nick, your loss is with us all. Thank you for believing in us and wanting more for our school.
No excuses, just solutions!
May your soul rest in peace.

Earth Day was celebrated on Wednesday 22 April 2026. Each class at CPS made an effort to learn more about recycling, cleaned up our school environment and made posters for Earth Day and awareness in the Environment!

Very delayed... but we celebrated World Book Day on 23 April 2026, the best way we know how. From dressing up in OUR favorite characters, to staff all reading to different classes.

Reading should be encouraged and it should be fun!

Our first ever Rugby Day! What a fun and exciting day.
False Bay Rugby Club really went all out to make this day a success. Their support to our schools Rugby extramural has been nothing short of amazing.

To our learners, you were AWESOME. To our parents, thank you for your support and for the love of Rugby.

Also to our opponents, who gave us so much to learn about... thank you.

To our Coaches, it CANNOT be done without you.

This is only the beginning.

Safety is a very important aspect of running any school and we at CPS takes that responsibility very seriously.

Our safety committee organized Road and Safety presentations lead by Cape Town Traffic Services.

We are very grateful.

Education is key to changing behavior!

A huge thank you to Sporting Chance for providing our learners with the WONDERFUL opportunity to see the Stormers game live on Saturday. It was an experience of a lifetime for them.

CPS, we aim high!

How does something start at Constantia Primary?

1. A look at what can we do better.
2. Some ideas...
3. A committee
4. Someone to drive it...

Boom... we have an Eco Club.

Our environmental team expressed the need for taking accountability for our environment and then opened up a club to get learners involved. They sacrificed two days of a very short holiday to start.

Thank you to the Environmental Committee and Mr Klein for initiating.
