My heart is so full. 💚

Thank you to every single person who ordered an Enchanted Forest Lucky Packet.

Whether you bought one for yourself, your child, your students or as a gift for someone you love - thank you for trusting me to create something special for you.

This has been the biggest Lucky Packet Post yet and 50% (!) more Lucky Packets are heading out into the world.

Every new order means I can send even more little pockets of wonder to letterboxes across South Africa and that dream is slowly becoming a reality because of you.

This month, a little piece of the Enchanted Forest is even travelling beyond our borders. Some of you are taking your Lucky Packets to friends and family in India and the United Kingdom which absolutely blows my mind.

Now comes my favourite part...

Curating each packet with you in mind. Writing your prompts. Hunting for little treasures. Decorating envelopes. Wrapping every parcel with care.

I can't wait for these little parcels of wonder to begin their journey to you.

If you missed this round, don't worry. The next Lucky Packet Post theme will be revealed in September. Join the waiting list now to be first in the queue when the forest opens again.

This week I've felt every emotion imaginable.

Rage.

Grief.

Hope.

Delight.

Sometimes all within the same hour.

While the news kept getting heavier, I found myself obsessing over tiny mushrooms, fox stickers and whether moss-green was more enchanted than sage-green.

My search history has officially become a cry for help.

But it also made me think...

Throughout history, people have planted gardens during wars.

Cooked meals for strangers.

Written letters.

Made art.

Thrown seed bombs into forgotten places and trusted nature to do the rest.

Maybe making beautiful things isn't escapism.

Maybe it's resistance.

This week's essay is about the ordinary people quietly holding the world together - from a man dragging a mini fridge over the cobbled streets of Dublin to volunteers, teachers, neighbours and friends who keep showing up when nobody is watching.

✨ It also includes one final reminder that the Enchanted Forest edition of Lucky Packet Post closes in 48 hours. Once it's gone, it's gone.

Right now, there are 11 Lucky Packets still available.

As an introvert, I never imagined that one of my favourite parts of the month would be driving around the city, hand-delivering little parcels of joy or popping off to the couriers to make sure your package safely travels across South Africa.

It makes me miss the kind of world where we knew the names and stories of the people we crossed paths with every day.

Thank you for letting me be a tiny part of your story. 💌

If you've joined the waiting list or ordered an Enchanted Forest Lucky Packet, keep an eye on your inbox for little updates along the way. 📧

Every customer gets sent a list of questions to make sure I curate your package that will hopefully put a smile on your face. If you have recently registered to be on the waiting list, don't forget to buy your Lucky Packet as it is first come first served.

There are only 12 Lucky Packets left. If you'd like one hand delivered stuffed full of magic with your name on it, please go here: selar.com/luckypacketpostjuly2026

I can't wait to meet some of you later this month.

Apparently you're supposed to have hobbies outside of work.

But my work is now collecting stationery, admiring pens, talking about paper and getting disproportionately excited about envelopes.

I'm beginning to suspect I've been outsmarted by stationery. 😅💌

POV: You started paying attention again

🌳 An afternoon stroll in nature

🦒 A giraffe going for a walk

🐶 A friendly dog

🌹 Freshly cut flowers

🍄 Nature's medicine

📮 Letterboxes waiting to be opened.

Wonder isn't something we find - it's something we notice ✨️

Just 15 Lucky Packet packages remain.

Each one unique, never to be repeated.

A family friendly experience suitable for everyone.

This week I realised something fascinating.

The parents buying Lucky Packet Post for their children tell me:

"They'll love this."

The adults buying one for themselves almost always apologise.

"It's for my inner child."

"I know this sounds a bit silly..."

"I've always loved stationery."

Why are we apologising for joy?

Why do we feel the need to justify stickers, journals, beautiful paper and tiny enchanted mushrooms but nobody apologises for binge-watching six episodes of a series they don't even like?

This week's essay is about wonder, nostalgia, creativity and why growing older doesn't have to mean growing out of the things that make us smile.

Every package is packed with stationery, paper treasures and a little everyday magic.

There are less than 20 Lucky Packets left, each one unique and never to be repeated.

Claim some of the magic before they sell out.

One of my favourite things about Lucky Packet Post is the messages I receive afterwards.

People tell me they've framed the paper.

They've kept the handwritten letter or journal prompts tucked inside a journal.

They've put the stickers somewhere "too special to use" (which always makes me laugh because I can totally relate and am also a sticker hoarder).

It's never really been about the stationery.

It's about that feeling of opening your postbox and finding something that was created with you in mind.

Something that reminds you to pause.

To play.

To notice.

I hope that's exactly how this month's Enchanted Forest edition feels when it arrives on your doorstep. 🌿🍄

Thank you to each and every person for supporting me with such enthusiasm and making this little snail mail dream of mine into a reality. ✨️

20 Lucky Packet packages are still available. Go to the links in my bio to claim your little bit of magic.
