This World Book Day, we celebrated the joy of stories that spark imagination and nurture a lifelong love for reading. Highlights of our day were dressing up as our favourite book characters and having some of our wonderful grandparents visit to read to our children - turning simple stories into treasured moments. 💛

Welcome back to school, Capriccio family! ✨

Our classrooms are alive again with laughter, curiosity, and the joyful buzz of new beginnings. We’re so excited to see our learners return, ready to grow, explore, and make beautiful memories together this term.

Our little artists had so much fun with their Easter egg art activity—turning simple egg shapes into bright, beautiful masterpieces!

The term ended with a burst of laughter, colour, and wonderfully wild creativity at our Crazy Hair & Funny Fest! 🤪🎉

From gravity-defying hairstyles to giggles that echoed across the playground, our learners truly embraced the joy of being playful, expressive, and completely themselves. What a magical way to wrap up the term! 💫

And just like that… the final page of our Autumn Holiday Club story has been turned 🍂✨

From laughter-filled days to hands-on adventures, new friendships, and a whole lot of happy chaos, this holiday club was nothing short of magical. Little feet explored, little hands created, and big imaginations ran wild.

To all our wonderful children (both familiar faces and new friends), thank you for bringing the energy, the giggles, and the sparkle. You made every moment count 💛

Splashes, giggles, and a little bit of magic 💧

Water play at Capriccio isn’t just fun, it’s a wonderful way for children to learn and grow. Pouring, scooping, smashing and splashing help develop fine motor skills, coordination, and early problem-solving. It also encourages creativity, sensory exploration, and social play as little ones experiment together.

At Capriccio, learning often looks like play… and sometimes it comes with wet sleeves and big smiles.

LAST CALL to register for our special Capriccio Mommy & Baby Workshop this coming weekend - a beautiful morning designed especially for moms and babies aged 6–18 months😍 Think bonding, baby massage, sensory play, motor development, creativity… and real-life first aid guidance that every mom should know.

With Capriccio’s owner, Elbe Webber and principal, Rosina Lee-warden, Fundamental Kinderkineticist, Stephanie Louw, and Dr Betsy du Plooy (Trauma Surgeon), this workshop blends nurturing connection with practical knowledge you can take home and use immediately.

This week at Capriccio, little hands pressed tiny bean seeds into cotton wool… and just like that, we planted patience 🌱

Our theme is Growing Things — not only beans, but confidence, curiosity, and care. Each child took their turn, gently covering their seed and giving it a hopeful splash of water. Now we wait… watching our little beans as they’re holding a beautiful promise of hope.

We’ll share an update when the first brave sprouts peek through 👀🌿
