Portable worlds in a tray 🌍✨
Sand tray play gives children a safe space to explore emotions, process experiences, and tell stories without needing words.
Even a simple mobile setup can encourage creativity, emotional expression, sensory regulation, and imaginative play.
In therapy, play is the language — and the sand tray becomes the storybook. 🤍

When it’s a heatwave… we turn skill-building into water play ☀️💧
A simple spray bottle filled with plain water can be a powerful tool for strengthening the fine motor muscles children need for writing.
Squeezing the trigger activates the small muscles of the hand and fingers, improves hand strength, and supports coordination — all essential for pencil control later on.
Bonus: it’s cooling, playful, and sensory-friendly, which helps children stay engaged for longer.
In play therapy, we often use simple tools like this to support development in ways that feel like play, not work.
Sometimes the best therapy tools are already in your kitchen.
Puppets in play therapy give children a safe voice.
Sometimes it’s easier to let the puppet say what feels too big, scary, or confusing to say out loud. Through play, stories, and imagination, children process emotions, practice problem-solving, and make sense of their world
