While painting Pool for Change, passersby asked if there was anything we could do about the park which was just "droeg" (dry) and had no functioning kids activities. The Park and Pool for Change are both on an intersection where rival gang fights go crazy, resulting in many child deaths. RIP Bradley Arendse, who lost his life in this park. After finishing the Pool for Change mural we missioned for some Fish 'n Chips. There was no way we could say no, and to be honest we were pumped to transform the park.
