We are incredibly proud to celebrate a historic achievement for our school! ππ
On Tuesday, 19 May, three Grade 6 learners and three Grade 7 learners represented our school at the Gene Louw Spelling Bee competition.
A special congratulations goes to Cyra October from Grade 6.1, who was crowned the winner of the Grade 6 competition! πβ¨
Cyra dedicated countless hours to preparing for the competition, sacrificing many breaks and studying late into the evenings. Her determination, perseverance, and hard work truly paid off, proving that commitment leads to success.
This victory is especially meaningful as it marks the first time our school has won the Gene Louw Spelling Bee in the five years we have participated. What an incredible milestone!
Well done, Cyra - we are extremely proud of you! π
