Yours and mine
A little bit of our history. A little of yourself.
Every scar has a story
Every story teaches us about life

Let’s laugh about the silly ones
Lat’s cry about the sad ones
Let’s talk about the physical ones
Let’s remember the internal ones
let’s celebrate that we are human
let’s commemorate that we are scarred
that we have a history and a story.
There is power in sharing it all.

To you who have a scar that still runs too deep, to you I say hold on, to you I say remember. One day you will be able to see the treasure.

I am sharing all this for you.
You who need a little bit of light.
You who need a little bit of laughter.
You who need a little bit of hope.

This Talk is about my OWN journey and how I have gone through 1. A process art course, 2. Remembering and facing fears, and 3. Seeing the Gold in situations that led me to looking in the mirror, (when I once hid from it) and understand that my scar is the crack through which my inner light shines through. That inner light is my gold, my lessons and that I am richer for having been broken.
