Our Campus Director, Lusanda Ntombela, welcomed participants and the guest speaker Miss Mangaka Tau, and further emphasized her extensive experience in Start Ups. 🔥 🩷

A special appreciation goes to our Organizing Committee members Lusanda Ntombela, Khathutshelo Munzere and our guest Speaker Miss Mangaka Tau, for taking teams through the Scalability and Traction, giving important insights to sustainability and scalability. 💯 🤍
Our guest speaker gave us a great background on her own journey back in 2018 with regards to scalability and sustainability which motivated and inspired start up captains.

We are proud to officially announce the upcoming OnCampus Competition of the Hult Prize at Walter Sisulu University, taking place on the 25th.
This marks a defining moment for our student entrepreneurs, a platform where innovation meets purpose, and where bold ideas are challenged, refined, and elevated.
Our campus has been building toward this stage through workshops, mentorship, and intensive preparation. Now, our startups are ready to showcase solutions designed to create meaningful impact.
The OnCampus Competition is more than an event, it is a celebration of leadership, resilience, and visionary thinking.
We look forward to witnessing ideas that push boundaries and redefine what is possible.

🌍 Hult Prize Walter Sisulu University Webinar Series – Day 1 Recap
We officially kicked off our preparation for the 2026 OnCampus Competition with a powerful session on Understanding the Hult Prize & SDG Alignment.
Our Campus Director, Lusanda Ntombela, welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of attending every session as part of intentional preparation for competition day.
He reminded teams:
“Clarity is your competitive advantage.”
The session was facilitated by Kha Thu Tshelo Munzere , our Marketing & Communications Coordinator.
A special appreciation goes to our Startup Coordinators, Ms.Amogelang Medupe and Dikgabiso Letele , for taking teams through the Hult Prize journey, unpacking the 2026 challenge, and highlighting why proper SDG alignment strengthens competitiveness.
We also explored Strategic Thinking, where teams were challenged:
“Before you build slides, build strategy.”
