From idea to implementation.
I was so pleased with how my new covers for my Circle cushions turned out.

My final First Moon Circle for 2025 was such fun, and with a record number of girls!
We laughed. We ate chocolate. We learned.

My best moment of each Circle is when the "I've always wondered..." questions come out.
That's when I know that the day has been a success.

A perfect natural deodorant for tweens & teens. From my alter ego.

Summer is almost here - I can smell it 🤣
DIY Deodorant Spray

🍃Ingredients (for a 120 ml glass spray bottle):

60 ml unscented vodka or unscented witch hazel

20 drops lemon essential oil

20 drops bergamot essential oil

20 drops lavender essential oil

20 drops tea tree essential oil

60 ml distilled white vinegar

🍃Instructions:

Pour the vodka (or witch hazel) into the bottle.

Add all the essential oils.

Fill up the rest with vinegar.

Shake well before each use.

Spray 2 spritzes per underarm and allow to dry for about a minute before dressing.

🍃Shelf Life & Storage:

Store in a cool, dark place, away from sunlight and heat.

The alcohol or vinegar acts as a natural preservative, so it typically lasts up to 6 months if kept clean and sealed.

If you used witch hazel instead of vodka, reduce shelf life to about 3 months, as it’s less antimicrobial.

Always shake before use, as oils can separate.

If the scent, colour, or texture changes, discard and make a fresh batch.

Sensory input is the nervous system’s language. 

This weekend I had the joy of co-facilitating the “Come Back to Your Senses” retreat on the beautiful   in Plettenberg Bay — alongside the radiant .outthere and Debbie. 🌿

It was a weekend of grounding, noticing, breathing, tasting, touching, and remembering what it means to be fully here.
