The Buzz of the Bees!
Our Tiger Lily class at Lily House Nitida enjoyed the most delightful and educational presentation today, all thanks to EduFunZa! The children were completely enthralled as they explored the fascinating world of honeybees, from how they work together to the important role they play in keeping our planet thriving.
Their excitement was truly buzzing, especially when they even got to taste real honey! It was such a sweet moment watching their faces light up with every new discovery.
A big thank-you to EduFunZa for inspiring curiosity and bringing the magic of bees to our little learners! ππ

Today, our little explorers discovered the magic of light and shadow!
We placed our favourite animals on paper and let the sun do the rest - casting perfect silhouettes for us to trace and bring to life.
This simple yet captivating activity invites children to notice how the sun moves, how shapes transform, and how light creates art. Itβs science, creativity, and wonder, all wrapped into one joyful moment of discovery.
Through play like this, children learn to observe, experiment, and create, guided by their natural curiosity and the beautiful rhythm of nature. π

Our Tiger Lily's have been busy transforming into little artists todau, inspired by the much-loved story The Very Hungry Caterpillar!
After exploring the colourful journey of the hungry caterpillar, the children brought the story to life through a creative art activityβusing vibrant colours, paper, and plenty of imagination to recreate their own caterpillars
This hands-on experience helped deepen their connection to the story while encouraging creativity, fine motor skills, and storytelling through art.
