At the SPL we prepare graduates for leading roles in public and civic organisations to tackle development

Happy Africa Day from the School of Public Leadership (SPL) !!!

Today we celebrate the richness, resilience, and leadership of the African continent and its people. We remain committed to strengthening Africa through teaching, research, consulting, and collaborative knowledge-sharing that empowers current and future leaders.

This commitment was recently reflected in hosting the 10th Edition AAPAM-African Association for Public Administration and Management Research Seminar on SDGs 2030 and AU Agenda 2063 at Stellenbosch University. Under the theme β€œGoverning for Impact,” the seminar brought together leaders from across the continent to advance practical solutions for resilient institutions, ethical leadership, digital transformation, and inclusive development.

We believe that investing in African knowledge, solutions, and leadership is key to building capable institutions and empowered communities for generations to come.

Happy Africa Day to all Africans across the continent and the diaspora!
