My mornings are somewhat structured... they have to be, I'm a single, homeschooling mom. But the afternoons take us on creative, and often intrepid adventures and I love that each one is different from the next. Really grateful that I get to work around my boy and he gets to learn such cool, hands on skills in addition to his school curriculum 🩷

A moment of calm

When I'm overwhelmed

I go outside to pray

listen to the sound of nature

take in the greenery

block out everything and just breathe...

.. and let the tears flow if they must

This heaviness is not mine to carry. I call on the greater power to gently guide me through life

Let's go back to the 90s. Teachers can truly make or break a child. So grateful I had a teacher who noticed me in my formative years and a mom who took her advice 🩷

Everytime I stress about something, panic over the smallest details or shut down completely because it's all too much... Allah shows me the way. As if to say, Ayesha, you've done all you can, now leave it to me... سبحان الله

May all your worries soon end and may you see the light inside yourself that connects you to the Divine. Don't dim it and keep shining ✨

Everyone has creativity inside of them. You just forgot what it was like to do something without being judged. We were all kids once and the grown-ups ooh'd and ahhh'd over our cute li'l drawings. But now we're not doing it for anyone's approval. We're doing it cause it feels good for our soul💖
