Dear Parents/Guardians,

We’re 4 days down in the June exams, with 10 days to go. Our matrics have started strong, and we’re proud of their effort so far.

There is still a long road ahead and they need us now more than ever. Please continue to support your child at home:

- *Ensure rest*: Early nights and proper sleep make a huge difference
- *Encourage routine*: Quiet study time, healthy meals, and limiting distractions
- *Offer motivation*: A calm word and belief in them goes further than pressure
- *Check in*: Ask how the paper went, but also remind them to focus on the next one

We are behind every learner. Let’s finish strong together.

Today our Grade 11 Consumer Studies learners successfully completed their practical assessment, showcasing their culinary skills through a variety of delicious sweet treats. 🍰🧁🍪

This practical experience forms an important part of their learning journey at Bonteheuwel High, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting while developing valuable skills in food preparation, presentation, time management, hygiene, and teamwork.

At our school, we are committed to preparing learners for life beyond the classroom by equipping them with practical, career-oriented skills that will serve them well in higher education, entrepreneurship, and the world of work.

We are proud of the creativity, dedication, and effort displayed by our learners today. Well done to all involved!

To move forward, we need *architectural drawings* for the plans. We’re appealing to any architect, draftsman, or firm in our community who would be willing to *donate their services* to draw up the plans for us.

Bonteheuwel High is working with a registered PBO, so we can issue a *Section 18A tax certificate* for the value of your professional services.
