A day full of baking, crafting and love - our learners made something special for Mother's Day💜❤️

We had a blazing good time today! 🚒 The Fire Brigade Bellville visited to teach our learners all about fire safety and emergency response. They even got to see the fire engine up close and spray the hoses! 💦

First-year Oral Hygiene students from the Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral Hygiene presented an educational presentation on oral hygiene to our learners.

Our learners learned that keeping teeth clean does more than just prevent cavities - it helps us:
✅ Stay Healthy: Preventing 'sugar bugs' (bacteria) keeps our whole bodies stronger.
✅ Speak Clearly: Healthy teeth play a vital role in helping children learn to form sounds and words.
✅ Eat Well: Strong teeth make it easy to chew nutritious, crunchy foods like apples and carrots. 🍎
✅ Save Space: Baby teeth act as important guides for the adult teeth waiting to come in!
