The cutey is getting use to his shoes...

So 3 weeks has come and gone and so has Noah's casts... we are so happy!!!!!

Doctor is very happy with feet ... little Noah really does not like the shoes .. praying that he gets use to it soon soon.

It was also little Liams (our other son) check up and he has to undergo surgery in Jan 2023 on his right foot. They need to move his tendon in his foot from one side to the other...

So for now he needs to practice walking with crutches so that when he is done with the surgery he can use them without difficulty..

So we had a bit of a rough 2 days... little to no sleep...

Had to rush back to hospital last night at 20:30 to have this seen too... and hospital meaning all the way to Bellville....

All sorted now and baby is much better....

My tired is tired 😫 😩 😴 😪 😞

And it's DONE!!!

8 weeks done and dusted... I am so proud of my son....
It's been a bumpy ride but we all got through it.

Now today we are heading to theater to have his Achilles tendon on both legs cut. They will then flatten his foot (meaning lift it up) and at a 90 degree angle

(A percutaneous Achilles tenotomy (often abbreviated perc TAL) for clubfoot is a procedure that lengthens the Achilles tendon and helps to improve flexibility of the ankle. The Achilles tendon attaches the two calf muscles in the lower leg to the heel (calcaneus) bone.)

The process after that will be 3 weeks in Casts and then his Mitchell's Boots.

We are praying for a speedy recovery and as little pain as possible.

And so tomorrow is a big day.
Noah goes to hospital for his Achilles tendon operation.

He is such a little super star and warrior !!!

I had to share this... the doctor and I had a good laugh...

It's quite a physical exercise when it comes to putting on casts for Noah... I ended up with plaster of Paris in my face and top ( just so FYI I stand behind Noah and calm him down) so how I got this on my face is the biggest question...

So happy that this was the last session....

Doctor is very happy with his feet.
Our surgery is scheduled for the 29th of November to have his Achilles tendon cut for the feet to be more flexible and flat. Thereafter he will be in a cast for 3 weeks solid.
