Welcome to Computer Science IGCSE Cambridge Syllabus Chapter 2 Data Transmission. In this video I we are looking at the second Error Detection Method which is CHECKSUM. We are going to discuss 5 error detection methods which are Parity Check, Check sum, ARQ, Check Digit and Echo check. My channel is mainly pro Computer Science IGCSE - A Level, ICT IGCSE - A Level, ICDL (Computer Literacy), Computer Applications Technology and Computer Studies. Content will always change to suit the current Cambridge Syllabus. The concepts I teach here applies also applies to tertiary ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems modules etc. The next video will be all about proving the validity of a checksum digit.
