Mamma's Plants

27/09/2026

I’m running another kids potting workshop this week and it’s gonna be a messy one! 🎨🌸

On Wednesday we’re going to be painting pots! Each child will get to paint their own terracotta pot, and then we’ll plant a flower in it to grow at home.

While the kids paint, you’ll get tea/coffee, something baked to eat, and a chance to chat to other moms in between all the chaos 🌱

Here are the details:

📅 Wednesday, 30 September
⏰ 2:30–4pm
📍 Rondebosch
💰 R300 per adult-and-child pair, R250 per sibling.

Spots are limited, so book via the link in my bio.

NB: Dress your kids in clothes you don’t mind getting paint on. That goes for you as well 😅

Will I see you at this one?

Another successful morning and a first of a new flower workshop offering, Ikebana workshops. It was such a special morning and I loved watching the ladies play and create, doing something different to the usual flower arranging in a vase.

Workshops are now bookable for private gatherings, so if you’ve got some FOMO, gather some friends together and let’s put together a special morning for you!

And as usual, the beautiful blooms were purchased from [email protected] 🌺 Such a special place to buy flowers from!

Important question of the day… Have you watered your plants recently??

Spring is here. The weather is getting warmer. And it’s time to start watering your plants more regularly 🌺

02/09/2026

The least glamorous part of having flowers in the house, and the only part that really matters. Fresh water every second day and a quick rinse of the vase… that’s what buys you the extra week!

If you want to learn the rest of it, I’ve got a flower workshop next Saturday. Link in bio 🌸

Happy Spring Day everyone!

In honour of the change of season, I’m offering a special discount on the kids potting workshops 🌸

Book a Wednesday date (or two!) at a discounted rate of R200 per workshop. Saving you R50 per session!

Imagine an afternoon of fun messy play, hot coffee and good conversation with fellow moms. You’ll leave with happy, tired kids who’ve spent some time outdoors with nature 🌱

This special will run until Sunday, so that gives you some time to get in on the fun 😊🌱

🌸Slow Saturday mornings arranging some fresh flowers.

A brief moment of peace amongst the chaos. What you don’t hear in the background is my toddler twins’ moans and groans 😂😜🙈

Have you booked my next Bubbles and Blooms workshop yet?

Spring is nearly here and I’ve got some exciting things lined up for September and October 🌸🌱

Ikebana Flower Workshop — Fri 12 Sept, 09:30-11:30, R685

Something a little different. Ikebana is the Japanese art of arranging, and it’s all about space and restraint. A fun way to play with blooms.

A morning of creativity and connection. Bring a friend and you both pay R600.

Weekly Kids Potting Workshops — Wednesdays, 14:30-16:00, R250 per adult & child pair

Our regular Wednesday afternoon in the garden. With a new theme every week, kids get their hands dirty and take something home, and there’s coffee and something baked for the grown-ups. If you’re coming often, grab a pass — it works out cheaper and you can use it on any Wednesday!

Bubbles and Blooms — Sat 10 Oct, 09:30-11:30, R550

The classic. Bubbles in hand, a table full of seasonal flowers, and you leave with an arrangement you made yourself. Flowers, vase, drinks and snacks all included 🌸

Happy Houseplants — private bookings

If you’ve got a group who want to get better at keeping their plants alive, message me and we’ll set up a date 🌱

And the Flower Bar is now hireable!
Baby showers, birthdays, kitchen teas, corporate days — I bring the bar and the blooms, your guests build their own bouquets to take home.
