What an incredible showcase of learning! Our Grade 5 learners have put so much time, effort, creativity and attention to detail into their Ancient Egypt Term Projects. 🏺🐪
From pyramids and the mighty Nile River to mummies, pharaohs and so many fascinating little details, every project tells a story of Ancient Egypt and the amazing things our learners have discovered along the way.
We are absolutely SO proud of these amazing projects and the hard work behind each one! ❤️

🍲💙 MILLSTREAM MAKING A DIFFERENCE 💙🍲
Today, some of our wonderful Millstream teachers and Grade 7 learners had the opportunity to give back to our local community by preparing, donating and serving warm, homemade soup at a local crèche.
Our Grade 7 learners didn't just donate food — they got involved, served with kindness, and experienced the joy that comes from doing something meaningful for others. 🌿
At Millstream, we believe that education is about so much more than academics. We want our learners to grow into kind, compassionate and responsible young people who understand the importance of looking beyond themselves and making a difference wherever they can.
A warm bowl of soup may seem like a small gesture, but paired with a little kindness, generosity and time, it can mean so much. ❤️

🎨✨ OUR ARTS GALA EVENING FUNDS ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE! ✨🎨
We are incredibly proud to share the wonderful way in which the funds raised at our Arts Gala Evening are being invested back into our learners and their school experience. 💙
We’re putting the focus on ART! 🎨🖌️
Our learners now have their very own art aprons to wear during their creative lessons — helping protect their school uniforms while they get messy, experiment, create and let their imaginations run wild!
Because that’s what we believe in: giving children the freedom to create without worrying about the mess. 👩‍🎨👨‍🎨
Every paint splatter, colourful brushstroke and masterpiece is part of the learning journey — and we cannot wait to see these aprons covered in the evidence of little artists at work! 🖌️🎨✨

At Millstream, we are incredibly fortunate to have women who pour their hearts into what they do — our teachers, support staff, mothers, grandmothers, daughters and the many wonderful women who form part of our school community. 💙

A huge congratulations to our incredible Millstream Preparatory School judokas who competed at the Joburg Judo Champion of Champions District Championships under Hajime Judo Club.

🥇 Oabile Malela – Gold Medal
🥇 Ally Goetsch – Gold Medal
🥈 Kyle Schröder – Silver Medal
🏅 Alex Schröder – 4th Place

A special mention to Tyler Goetsch, who competed in a very tough division. Although he didn't finish in the top three, he gave his absolute best and represented Hajime Judo Club and Millstream with determination and excellent sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of his effort!

👏 An extra round of applause goes to Oabile Malela and Ally Goetsch, who have both qualified to represent our province under Joburg Judo at the Masakhane Team Event in September! What an outstanding achievement!

Congratulations to all our judokas on your hard work, dedication, perseverance and fighting spirit. You have made the entire Millstream family incredibly proud! 💙💛🥋

🎉 Ending the Term on a High Note! 🎉
What a fantastic way to wrap up the term at Millstream Preparatory School!
Our learners enjoyed an action-packed day filled with excitement, laughter, and school spirit. From the energetic Cross Country Fun Run to the delicious Grade R Cake Sale, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Funny Hat Competition, where creativity and imagination were on full display! The colourful and quirky hats brought plenty of smiles and laughter to learners and staff alike.
Thank you to our learners, parents, and staff for making this term such a memorable one. We are proud of all that has been achieved and grateful for the wonderful school community we share.
