What an exciting afternoon of chess at Millstream Preparatory School! ♟️
Today we had the privilege of hosting Mountain Cambridge School for a friendly chess afternoon filled with strategic moves, great sportsmanship, and valuable learning experiences. There were plenty of exciting plays, clever tactics, and opportunities for our learners to grow their skills and confidence.
A big thank you to MCS for joining us — we truly enjoyed the afternoon together and look forward to many more matches in the future!
Chess teaches so much more than just the game itself. It encourages critical thinking, patience, concentration, planning ahead, problem-solving, and learning how to make thoughtful decisions under pressure — important skills both in and out of the classroom.
