Rabboni Christian School Rabboni Christian School is a private school which is situated in the Brits- area. We provide teaching for students between pre Grade R and Grade 12. Mrs.

Rabboni Private Christian School opened its doors on 17 January 1995 with 84 students, from Grade 0 to Grade 12. There were eight students in Grade 12. The school started with twelve, accomplished qualified and inspired teachers with Mr. Han Sipsma as the headmaster of the school. Morag Askham gave the school its name “Rabboni” from John 20:16 and composed the school song. Rabboni means “Master” or “Teacher”. Petro Booysen designed the school badge with the motto “Serving the Master”. The aim of the school is training learners for effective Christian living. We always try to maintain the Christian character of this school. A spirit of love, cooperation, discipline and hard work gives us the ideal foundation for true, meaningful Christian education. The medium of teaching is English and students of all races are welcome. Classrooms were initially in the house where Oom Han and Tannie Martie Sipsma live, as well as under the trees. The first classrooms to be built were the Grade 1 classrooms and at a later stage the ablution block as well as the crèche area was developed. Since then the building projects have not ended. The Lord is our Provider and we thank Him for His faithful undertaking over the years and in the future. We as leaders and the teachers would like to remind you, that we don’t want to portray only the authority figure, but you can always come to us if you need any kind of help. We will go out of our way to help you.

🛠️🖨️ *Grade 10 CTE Engineering: From Ideas to Reality!*

At Rabboni Christian School, we believe that education should go beyond the pages of a textbook. Knowledge must be transformed into skills, and skills must be applied to create something useful.

On 9 September 2026, our *Grade 10 CTE Engineering learners* had the opportunity to learn how to operate a *3D printing machine* and put their design and engineering knowledge into practice. ⚙️💡

What begins as an idea on a screen can become a real, tangible object in the hands of a learner. That is exactly what our learners experienced as they designed and printed different components using the 3D printer.

🎥 In the video, our learners can be seen printing a 9V battery holder, turning a digital design into a functional physical component, layer by layer. 🔋🖨️

This is more than simply learning how a machine works. It is about developing problem-solving, creativity, engineering thinking, digital skills and the confidence to build.

At Rabboni, we don't want our learners to simply know.
We want them to understand, create, build and innovate. 🚀

🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️ RABBONI ATHLETES HEAD TO SACSSA NATIONALS! 🇿🇦🏆

Our Rabboni athletes are on their way to Pietermaritzburg to represent our school at the SACSSA National Annual Athletics Championships! 🏃🏽‍♂️🔥

The athletes will compete against learners from schools across different parts of South Africa, putting their talent, hard work and determination to the test on the national stage. 🇿🇦💪🏽

📅 Competition: Friday, 25 October & Saturday, 26 October
📍 Venue: Pietermaritzburg
🚌 Return: Sunday, 27 October
👩🏽‍🏫 Accompanied by: Their teachers

🧺🌈 PRE-SCHOOL PICNIC DAY! 💚☀️

What a beautiful day of fun, friendship and laughter our little ones enjoyed at the Rabboni Pre-School Picnic Day! 🎉🥰

Armed with their picnic baskets, blankets and sun hats, our little learners arrived ready for a wonderful day outdoors. 🌿🧺

Under the shade of the trees, the children enjoyed their picnic treats, shared snacks with their friends, and filled the lawn with laughter, conversation and happy memories. 🍪🧃😄

And then came the highlight… 🏰🎉

The bouncy castle was a huge favourite! There was jumping, crawling, sliding, bouncing and, of course, plenty of giggles and smiles all around! 😂💙

But beyond the fun, days like these are an important part of growing together. Our little ones are learning to:
🤝 Build friendships
🍎 Share with others
💬 Socialise and communicate
🌿 Enjoy the outdoors
❤️ Create special memories together

💚🤝 SERVING OUR COMMUNITY | GRADE 8 & 9 OUTREACH 🌱

This week, our Grade 8 and 9 learners spent the day at Lagai Roi Missionary Nursery & Pre-School, rolling up their sleeves and putting their faith into action by serving the little ones in our community. 👏

🔨 REPAIR. REBUILD. RESTORE.

Our learners got hands-on as they helped repair and rebuild playground equipment, including swings, ropes and climbing structures, helping create a safer and more enjoyable space for the preschool children to play, explore and have fun. 🛝🧗‍♀️

But the day was about more than just fixing equipment. ❤️

Our learners also spent time with the children, joining them for:
🏃‍♂️ Running races
♟️ Chess
🎮 Games and activities
🧃 Sharing juice and conversations
🤝 Building meaningful relationships

It was a beautiful reminder that outreach is not simply about giving something, it is about giving of ourselves.
Our learners gave their time, energy, skills and hands to bless others, while learning the value of compassion, responsibility, teamwork and service. 💚

We are proud of our Grade 8 and 9 learners for embracing the opportunity to serve, build and make a difference in the lives of others.

🧺🌈 PICNIC DAY REMINDER! 💞

Dear Parents and Learners,

As we get ready for our exciting Picnic Day, please remember the following:
👕 Home Clothes: Learners may come dressed in comfortable home clothes.
🧢 Hat: Please make sure your child wears a hat.
☀️ Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen before school and, if possible, pack some for reapplication during the day.
👟 Comfortable Shoes: Learners must wear suitable shoes for a day of fun and activities.
🧺 Picnic Basket: Each learner should bring a picnic basket with something yummy to eat! 🍎🥪🍪

🍇 If possible, please pack enough to share with a few friends so that we can enjoy the picnic together. 💞
