trots!! Die toekoms begin al hoe beter te lyk.

Hoop nog besighede begin hand by te sit soos Jantjies Bouers (Bredasdorp), Clearlake Capital (Struisbaai), Standard Bank (National), Bredasdorp Parks en ander die voorbeeld gestel het.

Ons kyk met trots om te sien hoe dinge stap vir stap by die skool verbeter.

Ons stem saam Coach Deon Davids, UBUNTU - I am because we are... 👏👏👏 Dankie dat jy die verskillende mylpale op jou platform deel vir ons almal om saam met die skool te vier.

𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨/𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗞𝗜𝗘 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗷𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘀/𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗮𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗽).

When business reaches out to ask how they can support and then follow through with their offer, this is how progress becomes possible.

Last week after the U/14 & U15 rugby boys started digging, we had an excavator on site to lift the concrete of the old athletics track around the rugby field at Albert Myburgh Secondary School.

Nico September was a gem with co-ordinating everything & Lucor did an amazing job with starting the excavations.

The work continues, the dream is worth pursuing, the kids will have a safe field to comfortably enjoy their break times and rugby and athletics will eventually be enjoyed on a surface fit for purpose.

The work continues, we still have a journey ahead, but it begins and is conquered with one single step at a time. More importantly, healthy community is all out partnership, collaboration and follow through. Whether it takes a day, a year or longer. Whatever it takes, we are in it for the long haul.

I'm so grateful to everyone who is catching the vision and deciding to join hands. 𝑻𝙝𝒊𝙨 𝙞𝒔 𝑼𝘽𝑼𝙉𝑻𝙐 - 𝙄 𝙖𝒎 𝒃𝙚𝒄𝙖𝒖𝙨𝒆 𝒘𝙚 𝙖𝒓𝙚.

Myburghs trots!!! 🤗

Ons is trots om aan te kondig dat Albert Myburgh Sekondêre Skool ’n 74,3% slaagsyfer in die 2025 Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat-eksamens behaal het.

Hierdie uitslae weerspieël die deursettingsvermoë van ons leerders, die toewyding van ons opvoeders, en die gesamentlike poging van ons hele skoolgemeenskap gedurende ’n uitdagende akademiese jaar.

Baie geluk aan ons top 3 presteerders:
1. Jomicha Anta
2. Gwyneth Abrahams
3. Eugenia Adams

Vakke met ’n 100% slaagsyfer:
Rekenaartoepassingstegnologie (RTT)
Toerisme
Verbruikerstudies
English First Additional Language
Lewensoriëntering

Vakke met ’n slaagsyfer van 90% en hoër:
Afrikaans Huistaal – 99%
Geografie – 96,1%
Geskiedenis – 95,7%
Wiskundige Geletterdheid – 91,1%

Vakke met ’n slaagsyfer van 80%:
Besigheidstudies – 80%

Benewens bogenoemde prestasies het:
75 leerders die NSS suksesvol geslaag
24 leerders ’n Baccalaureus-vrystelling behaal
36 Diploma- en 15 Hoër Sertifikaat-vrystellings is toegeken

Ons erken dat elke leerder se akademiese pad uniek is. Terwyl ons hierdie prestasies vier, bly ons verbind tot voortdurende verbetering, doelgerigte ondersteuning en akademiese groei.

Aan die Klas van 2025:
Julle het veerkragtigheid, vasberadenheid en karakter getoon. Ons is trots op julle en wens julle alles van die beste toe vir die pad vorentoe.
