Muriel Brand School Official page for learners with physical and learning disabilities. The story of Muriel Brand School started in 1964.

That was the year in which the school's sponsoring body, the Eastern Transvaal Cerebral Palsy Association (now the Gauteng Cerebral Palsy Association), was formed. Today our Grade R learners celebrated a very special milestone: 100 days of school! What an incredible journey it has been.

Over the past 100 days, they have learned so much: making new friends, following routines, recognising letters and numbers, developing their fine motor skills, exploring their creativity, building confidence, and growing in independence every single day.

We are so proud of how much our little learners have grown and how they embrace every new challenge.

Here’s to 100 days of learning, 100 days of growing, 100 days of making wonderful memories together and maybe 100 grey hairs for their teachers! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds!

Bafana Bafana back the boys Fridays!

Our hostel boys are behind our Bafana Bafana team. Even though the first match's result didn't go our way last night, we are still proud supporters of the boys.

💙 Twee skole. Een gemeenskap. Groot harte. 💚

Vandag sê ons uit die diepte van ons harte dankie aan Laerskool Dalview se o/9-rugbyspan, onder leiding van Monica Willemse, wat nie net gespeel het nie, maar ook uitgereik het.

Hierdie jong spelers het die inisiatief geneem om borge te werf en geld in te samel vir ons Warmwatersakprojek, sodat Muriel Brandskool-leerders hierdie winter veilig en warm kan bly.

'n Opregte dankie aan: 🔹 African Rewinders 🔹 Randpro – Cherize Fowler 🔹 Pumpset Solutions wat die seuns ondersteun het.

Ons bedank ook die baie ander anonieme borge. Julle ondersteuning maak 'n werklike verskil.

Wat hierdie projek besonders maak, is dat dit kinders leer om raak te sien waar daar nood is, en dan iets daaromtrent te doen. Julle het nie net warmwatersakke geskenk nie – julle het omgee, hoop en warmte geskenk.

Dankie aan elke speler, afrigter, ouer en ondersteuner wat hierdie projek moontlik gemaak het. Julle is 'n inspirasie vir ons almal.

Help keep Muriel Brand School learners warm and safe this winter | Brakpan Herald A simple hot water bottle could help keep a learner warm and prevent serious injury this winter. Muriel Brand School is appealing to the community for donations to support its wheelchair-bound learners during the colder months.

Aan die Hoër Volkskool Heidelberg -gemeenskap

Dit is met groot hartseer dat ons kennis neem van die afsterwe van Rilana Lötter. Namens die personeel, leerders en ouergemeenskap van Muriel Brandskool wil ons ons opregte meegevoel betuig aan haar familie, vriende, onderwysers en almal wat haar geken en liefgehad het.
